Itinerary

Day 1: Jammu Railway Station to Katra (51 kilometers/ 1 hour)

Upon arrival in Jammu, our assistant will pick you up from Jammu railway station. We will start your journey from Jammu to Katra by Car. On arrival, check in to the hotel and the rest of the day is free for leisure. In the evening, you can perform shopping in Katra. Dinner and overnight at Katra.    

Day 2: Katra to Vaishnodevi Darshan (12 kilometres trek/ 2 hours)

In the early morning, start your trek from Katra to Mata Vaishnodevi; upon arrival perform darshan, pooja and shopping, then back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Katra.

In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel in Amritsar and drive towards Srinagar; en route, visit Patnitop for local sightseeing by car. Upon arrival in Srinagar, check in to the hotel freshen up and rest of the day is free of leisure. Night halt at Srinagar.

Day 4: Srinagar to Sonmarg: Excursion Tour via Kheer Bhawani Mandir (95 kilometers/3 hours)

Morning after breakfast, start your day excursion tour of Sonmarg from Srinagar. En route, visit Kheer Bhawani Mandir for Darshan. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel in Sonmarg. Later, come back to the hotel in Srinagar and overnight stay at Srinagar.

Sonmarg—Sonamarg or Sonmarg, known as Sonamarag in Kashmiri, is a hill station located in the Ganderbal District of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is located about 62 Kilometers from Ganderbal Town and 80 kilometres (50 mi) northeast of the capital city, Srinagar.

Day 5: Srinagar to Gulmarg: Excursion Tour via Tangmarg (60 kilometers/ 2 hours)

In the morning after breakfast, start your day excursion tour of Gulmarg from Srinagar and, en route, visit Tangmarg. Tangmarg local sightseeing by car on GangotriTravels. Upon arrival at Gulmarg, enjoy Gulmarg ropeway gondola ride and sightseeing. Later, get back to the hotel in Srinagar, have dinner and overnight stay at Srinagar.

Gulmarg: Gulmarg is known as Gulmarag,'meadow of flowers' in Kashmiri. It is a town, a hill station, and a popular skiing destination. It is located at a distance of 58 km from Srinagar. The town is situated in the Pir Panjal Range in the Western Himalayas and lies within the boundaries of Gulmarg Wildlife Sanctuary.

Day 6: Srinagar: Local Sightseeing

Start your journey after breakfast and visit Shankracharya Temple in Srinagar. Do local sightseeing and visit Mughal Gardens like Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Garden, Chashma Shahi and Pari Mahal. In the evening, enjoy the Shikara ride on the famous Dal Lake at least for 1 hour and transfer to a houseboat on the lake. Overnight stay there.

Srinagar: Srinagar is the largest city and the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus, and the Dal and Anchar lakes. The city is known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts like the Kashmir shawl (made of pashmina and cashmere wool), and also dry fruits.

Day 7: Srinagar to Pahalgam (100 kilometers/ 3 hours)

Next morning, check out from the houseboat in the lake at Srinagar after breakfast and drive for 100 kilometres approximately, which would take up to 3 hours to reach Pahalgam from Srinagar. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and freshen up. Later visit Chandanwari, Aru Valley and Betaab Valley sightseeing at your own expense. Get back to the hotel have your dinner and overnight stay at Pahalgam.
